This variety cannot be shipped to the states of AK, AZ, CA, CO, HI, ID, KS, LA, MS, MT, ND, NE, NM, NV, OK, OR, SD, TX, UT, WA or WY due to Japanese Beetle Quarantine Restrictions.
'Improved Ruegen' is one of the oldest varieties of alpine but still an excellent choice. The strong growing plants produce red fruit and few runners. We have occassionally seen a runner.
