This variety cannot be shipped to the states of CA, AZ, HI, MT, NV, OR, UT, ID, TX, ND, SD, MS, NM, UT, NE, KS, OK, CO, WA or WY due to Japanese Beetle Quarantine Restrictions. The only way to do this would be to wash the soil off the roots and ship bare root or to dip the plants in a very toxic pesticide. The first choice is very time consuming and uses many gallons of water. The latter choice is not even a consideration.
We have been testing 'Rosea' for a year now and are quite impressed. It is a strong growing variety that produces a lot of runners. We have not received much fruit yet because it takes a couple of years to reach its potential. Use 'Rosea' as a second variety to pollinate either 'Capron' or 'Profumata di Tortona.
Origin: Russia.
