Recently we tested what we call ADDED VALUE packets. It is simply doubling the contents of packets of selected popular cultivars. Instead of getting 50+ seeds per packet you get 100+ seeds for less money than buying two packets.. It's extra work for us. We have found it to be a popular choice so we are extending it to some of the other cultivars.
We tested new packaging because our envelope supplier contacted us to warn of price increases for paper. The price is going up over 10%. I'm sure it's just a matter of time before printing costs will increase. So, we are now offering our ADDED VALUE cultivars in 2.25 x 3.5" coin envelopes. They will not have cultural information printed on the packets like our larger paper packets. They will continue to have all information about the cultivar including germination. Cultural information will still be on other packets in your order. If you order only ADDED VALUE products we will include the cultural information on one of the old style envelopes that all the packets are packed in. All of this will save us some money which allows us to offer more seeds for less. Packets will still be inserted into larger reclosable plastic bags to protect from moisture.
