This virginiana selection was developed in Maryland but originally collected from the wild in Minnesota. It is resistant to Bacterial Angular Leaf Spot which is a huge plus for any strawberry.
The red fruit seems to be typical sized for this species. The plants vigorously produce runners. We are still learning a lot about this variety and are offering very limited quantities for the fall 2010 and spring 2011 seasons.
