Alexandria is a selection of Reine des Vallees or Ruegen. The red fruit is much larger than the wild runnering types found in the woods. The plants are day neutral ever bearing types. This cultivar is productive though the fruit tends to be slightly less robust in the taste and aroma realm compared to other varieties.
