Deesse des Vallees is a selection of Reine des Vallees and the fruit of Deesse are larger than Reine fruit. The scarlet red fruit is much larger than the wild runnering types found in the woods. The plants are day neutral ever bearing types. Deesse is a strong growing plant that can get larger than other types of alpines if given the space. For productivity reasons this variety is worth trialing.
