6 Plant Package .....You will get two of each of 'Capron', 'Profumata di Tortona' and 'Rozeya'. We are the only grower in North America that sells 'Rozeya'. We grow our musk strawberry transplants in 3.25" x 3.25" x 3.5" deep pots. Musks are strong growers that produce runners. It takes 2 -3 years to establish a bed that will produce well. You need at least two varieties of musks to produce a good crop of fruit since they are not self-pollinating.The fruit of the musk strawberry is nearly impossible to describe. First, they are extremely aromatic. The best description that I've heard is that the taste is a combination of strawberry, raspberry and pineapple. WOW! You'll be blown away by the taste and aroma.Musks are June-bearing types meaning that they produce one crop in the spring. On rare occassions here in zone 7 we get some blooming in the fall but have not had any fruit produced in the fall. |
