Alpine Quick Starts

We offer Quick Starts for those who don't want to wait for smaller plants to grow and mature. You can miss a whole season of delicious fruit by starting out with smaller plants.

Quick Starts are grown in what are called 1801 trays. This is a standard 1020 tray that will hold 18 individual pots. Each pot measures 3.25" x 3.25" x 3.5" deep. We grow in the deeper pots to develop a larger and stronger root system.

Most of the Quick Starts that are sold are either flowering or fruiting at the time of shipment. The exception are early season shipments of dormant plants.

The category picture is of a 'Ruegen' with the pot removed to show the root system. I like to use a dime to show the size of objects. You can see that the dime is dwarfed by the plant. these are well rooted plants that are ready to take off in your garden.

We use an " * " in the plant name to indicate varieties that produce runners.
